Today the middle school got word from downstairs about something two amazing students (brother & sister) are putting together and we decided to send a reporter down for an interview with one of them.  The Crayon Drive is open to all so feel free to bring your donations by the school and help Graison & Ave help out some of the young patients at Children’s Hospital here in Seattle.

Graison can stand tall given his and his sister’s acts of kindness

Q. What was your motivation for this? I see that this is your second one, but what inspired you to do this?

A. The fact that my brother was in Children’s Hospital inspired me to do this charity drive, and we’re just doing it for him.

Q. How much support did you get last year? Was it a big turn out, or was it not as much as you had hoped for?

A. We raised almost a million crayons for the hospital, so the turnout was really big.

Q. How long are you going to keep this charity drive going? Do you think that you’re ever going to stop doing it while you’re in school?

A. I think I’ll keep doing it until I get out of West Seattle Montessori.

Q. Besides this charity drive, do you do other ones or is this the only one you two do?

A. This is the only one that my sister and I have done.

Q. What do you want most for the kids that your charity is helping?

A. I just want them to feel better and be able to have a happy life with their family.

Don’t forget to bring in a donation of new Crayola® brand crayons anytime between Monday, December 3rd and Friday, December 14th!
